What is ViLT?
ViLT is a Practical Vietnamese Language Test in Japan, created by Japan Southeast Asia Language Exchange Association (JTAG). It is aimed at Japanese speakers so you may find some parts of the test in Japanese.
Because of the growing interest in learning Vietnamese in Japan and the current lack of an international Vietnamese language proficiency test, JTAG created ViLT for Japanese speakers in Japan to test their Vietnamese proficiency without having to travel to Vietnam to take the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test.
Acknowledgement
Where is ViLT acknowledged?
Like most language proficiency tests, you should check with your organization or employer directly whether or not they acknowledge or accept the exam result of the test in question before taking it.
Levels of difficulty
ViLT has 6 levels of difficulty. Similarly to how N1 is the highest difficulty level and N5 is the lowest difficulty in Japanese language proficiency test, ViLT Level 1 is the highest difficulty, and Level 6 is the lowest difficulty. ViLT also has pre-Level 6 test.
